About the Mentoring Program
The WEC Mentor Program is an opportunity for undergraduate students to connect with graduate students in the Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation Department to allow undergraduates to explore what it is like to be a professional in natural resources, to learn how to find and apply for jobs in natural resources, and to find opportunities to gain experience working with graduate students on their projects. This can help jump start their academic careers by gaining insight and receiving support from great mentors in the graduate community.
Mentors (graduate students): If you are interested in mentoring, please fill out this form. In addition, please email WGSA ([email protected]), and include a picture of yourself to be posted along with your information.
Mentees (undergraduate students): check out the Mentor Profiles and contact a mentor who fits your interests. For a sample email and more information see How to get involved.
