Welcome to the WGSA website!

We are a graduate student-run organization that represents the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation's graduate students' interests.
WGSA acts as a liaison between departmental and university personnel and is responsible for graduate student travel grants, graduate student
invited speakers, fun and more.

RECURRING EVENTS:

  • WEC Espresso Hour: join WEC staff, students, faculty and visiting scholars for espresso hour at 10am Monday through Friday in the WEC 3rd floor lounge. Bring a cup and conversation!
  • Biology Zoocial: join Biology students every Friday in the Bartram-Carr courtyard (behind the FLMNH collections building) at 5pm for cheap beverage and chit chat.
  • SNRE GSC Third Thursday Happy Hour: join SNRE grad students (from many departments) at 5pm on the first Thursday of each month during the semester. Location changes each month.
